All .URUKUST products are designed and produced in her own studio.

Based on the belief, "A good design is born from the hands, rather than from sketches," dozens of prototypes are created, then finally made into a complete design.
Ultimately, we believe that the experience of making something by hand can change your perspective, help you discover what you like, and moreover, discover yourself.
We would like to shed light on handicrafts once again in the modern world, where quick purchasing is the norm.

Yasue Tsuchihira

Started leather craft at age 13. Studied design at Kuwasawa Design School and started working in the field of bag and accessory design. Founded .URUKUST in 2011.
2011 Moved into Taito Designers-Village
2012 Adjunct instructor in product design at Joshibi University of Art and Design
2014 Moved the atelier to Tsuzuki Ward, Yokohama City
2014 Established Ueda-seisakushitsu Inc. and opened a showroom in October, in partnership with FLANGE plywood
